Uri Caine, Diabelli Variations Selection - new work (TBC)
New composition commissioned by Flagey & De Bijloke
It is now a regular event in the calendar: the Brussels Philharmonic crosses musical boundaries to flirt with the sultry sounds of jazz in the series ‘Jazz Meets Symphonic’.

This year, the great master Uri Caine is coming to Belgium to try to tease unexpected sounds and rhythms out of the orchestra. And his success is guaranteed: Caine is renowned (or reputed?) for his unique jazz interpretations of classical composers such as Mahler, Bach and Beethoven.
